I too would love to find some more songs like these. I shuffle it to mix up the artists a little. The Backstreet boys', "I want it that way" has the perfect beat/drone. some of the 90s boy band songs are great for running. Do you dis/agree? I would love to hear your take on both my questions from another doctor's perspective. I can barely do a 11 min/mile but have been jogging nonetheless. He said that jogging can cause more injuries, so if you are "running" that slowly anyways, you'll burn more calories/be more safe by walking briskly. 2) I was reading a running FAQ site and the "expert" recommended speed walking for people who run slower than a 10min/mile. Does it really burn more calories? Is it better/worse than my usual sloooow jog. I have got the shoes, the wear, the socks, the ipod, and now some questions: 1) what do you think of interval training, the walk-jog-run deal. I have been running 2-4 days/week now partly b/c of your blog. I couldn't find your email b/c I am retarded.
OK Doc Ma, this is a question/comment, sorry. Here's a snapshot of a few of my current running favorites: So I need suggestions from the real geniuses out there: you guys. Some middle of the night insomniac hours later, I have come up with exactly one new song. Finally! A way to locate songs that are like the songs I like but that I never heard of! So it was with great excitement that I tried out the Itunes Genius feature. A certain je ne sais quoi - and therein lies the problem.Lyrics - I can't run to the podrunner music, for instance - but the lyrics must be interesting or funny, unless the beat is REALLY good.Turns out, my favorite music is not my favorite running music. (Thanks again, E! Did you know my ipod survived even an epic soaking in a thunderstorm?) (Also, the pants fit, and belated thanks for those. A little over a year ago, I went from never listening to music while running to almost always doing so.
